About

In today's schools, many students face challenges that go unnoticed but significantly impact their ability to succeed. Among them are students with neurodivergent conditions, such as ADHD, anxiety, Intellectual disabilitles, and aut/sm. These conditions bring unique academic and social struggles, which are often misunderstood or overlooked. This lack of understanding creates unfair assumptions and results in preventing these students from reaching their full potential. By exploring these challenges, I partnered with The Parent's Place and created a website to provide resources and information to neurodivergent students and their parents, and emphasized the barriers neurodivergent students face and advocated for increased awareness, support, and accommodations to help them achieve academic success. Most Importantly, addressed issues in the schools to help neurodivergent students to thrive in school, To help neurodivergent students thrive, schools must encourage understanding, break down stigma, and provide personalized support to improve their academic performance and emotional well-being, making sure that every student has the chance to reach their expectations.
